"I don't want to lose the boy with the bread."
-Katniss Everdeen
From the wonderful The Hunger Games.
*possible spoiler alert* I just love this sentence that becomes a motif in the book. It gets modified, and becomes a really important idea for Katniss as she ventures through to The Hunger Games and when she finds Peeta, finally, when he is battered and feverish.
Its so sweet, and I think it conveys a lot about what she's feeling, because she doesn't really voice her exact thoughts ever. I think this convey's a lot of what she's feeling, and where she's been. Its a really lovely display of word choice and syntax; so simple, yet so thoughtful.
